Flower Pendant Necklace

Even though I love making one of a kind jewelry, there have been some pieces that more than one person has wanted.  Take for example the flower pendant necklace…this piece has been a hit this summer.  Even though I don’t mass produce my jewelry, you may be one of many who has one…I think that’s ok for something that has women smiling…don’t you?

Wrap Skirts July 31, 2008

Wrap skirts have been around for a long time.  But just think of having one that was made with two layers of recycled sari fabric, is reversible, and can be worn many different ways?  This product outside of sheer genius is a wardrobe staple!  You can wear them with a tank or tee and some flip flops or dress it up with a tube top and heels.  Women have loved the versatility of this product and once you try one on, you’ll be instantly addicted too!

Wrap Skirts & Silk Scarf Dresses - Fly off the Rack!

Wrap Skirts & Silk Scarf Dresses - Fly off the Rack!

Let’s just say that setting up the booth, having a couple beers, selling lots of products, spending time with my sweet husband and seeing the woman who introduced us (after not seeing her for over 9 years), helping out customers, hearing festival music, and working with my sister-in-law and two close friends, made this a great weekend!

We sold a ton of reversible wrap skirts made from recycled saris, scarf dresses made with poly silk and an assortment of earrings, rings and necklaces.  Everyone who bought something was really happy with their purchases.  We look forward to hearing more about this fun event!  Comment away!

The birth of my blog July 30, 2008

Well, it’s not like childbirth, that’s for sure.  The birth of my blog was much easier than walking into the hospital.  The only thing similar is that it will take some effort on my part and the part of everyone I know to help raise it and nurture it to become something of significance.  It takes a village, but the first step is the birth…and so, we have elementsbylori.com/wordpress.  Welcome to the world little blog.
